Workspaces
Your organisation's private environment on Anzen
What is a Workspace?
A workspace is your organisation's private environment on Anzen. Each workspace has its own users, configuration, and subdomain. Data is fully segregated - there is no way for one workspace to access another's data.
Your workspace is accessible at your-workspace.anzenplatform.com. The service portal is served at the root, and the management interface at /management.
Creating a Workspace
Anyone can create a workspace at login.anzenplatform.com/register. The registration process asks for:
- Organisation name - the display name for your workspace.
- Workspace URL - a unique slug that becomes your subdomain (for example,
acmeforacme.anzenplatform.com). Must be lowercase alphanumeric with hyphens, between 3 and 64 characters. - Admin email and password - the initial superadmin account.
After registration, the workspace is immediately available. The admin receives a verification email to confirm their address.
Workspace Isolation
Every workspace is completely isolated. This means:
- Complete data isolation - there is no way for one workspace to access another's data.
- Independent user management - your users only exist in your workspace.
- Separate configuration, roles, and permissions per workspace.
Reserved Workspace Names
Certain names are reserved and cannot be used as workspace URLs: login, support, www, dev, test, billing, and others used by the platform.
Switching Between Workspaces
If you belong to more than one workspace (consulting at multiple clients, working across business units, etc.) each workspace lives at its own subdomain - workspace-a.anzenplatform.com, workspace-b.anzenplatform.com. Switch by visiting the other workspace's URL and signing in there. Sessions are scoped per workspace, so logging out of one doesn't affect the other.
